Taipale Unikko Dress

The Taipale dress has a slim A-line fit and it features the Unikko pattern. The long dress has an O-neck in the front and a deep V-slit and ribbon closure in the back neckline. The dress has short sleeves and a narrow separate belt with padding. The bust darts give the dress a more fitting shape.

This product is made of a lyocell and viscose blend which contains 62% lyocell and 38% recycled viscose.

Our dresses are cut using the whole width of the fabric and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.

Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today the iconic flower represents creativity.
