Free Standard Shipping on orders over $250
If under $250, we offer two delivery options:
1. Standard shipping across Canada for $25 (3 - 5 Business Days)
2. Express shipping across Canada for $35 (1 - 3 Business Days)
Delivery times may be longer during promotions or any major holidays.
Orders are not shipped on weekends and public holidays.
We do not offer Saturday or Sunday delivery.
If you believe your package is lost or stolen, contact us within five days of delivery. Claims submitted after this period cannot be processed.
We ship exclusively across Canada.
Please note we cannot ship to PO Boxes.
Overall delivery time 1-7 Business Days across Canada.
Important: Products usually ship the same day if ordered by 2:00 PM (Eastern Time). If your order is received after this time, it will ship on the next business day. Orders received on Saturday, Sunday, or any major holiday will also ship on the next business day.
All products eligible for return must have their tags and labels in place.
Products discounted by 40% or more and marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned or exchanged. No exceptions.
Fabric orders are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged. No exceptions.
Laundered items are not eligible for return.
Bedding sets are accepted only in their individual undamaged bags.
Swimwear must have the hygiene strip in place.
Products discounted by 40% or more and cut-to-measure fabrics are final sales and ineligible for return.
We are unable to process exchanges online. If you need a product in a different size or color, please return the product and place a new order. If you received an order as a gift, please contact customer service.
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please email customer service with your order number and a photo of the damage within 48 hours of receipt.
Marimekko fabrics can be ordered from our online store like any other product. Select your desired fabric, specify the color and length in meters or number of repeats, and add it to your cart. Your cart will display the final price and quantity.
Please check the fabric’s product page to see if it is sold by the meter or repeat. Fabrics with large patterns are usually sold by the repeat, meaning you will always receive a complete pattern. Fabrics sold by the meter can be bought in half meters, with a minimum order of 1 meter/fabric.
Your order will arrive in a single continuous length (up to 15 meters). Please keep in mind that fabrics are made-to-order and cannot be returned, so make sure you order the correct fabric and length.
Our fabrics are 145 to 150 centimeters wide. The length of the pattern repeat is mentioned in the specifications of each fabric. Repeats are within +/- 3% of the specified values.
The tone of our fabrics may differ between printing batches. There may be slight color differences between the picture on the product page and the actual fabric.
Marimekko fabrics are printed using either a flatbed or rotary printing method. When printing large-print fabrics with the flatbed method, a repeat line appears at the edge of the pattern. The prominence of this line depends on the fabric’s color and pattern. The repeat line is not a flaw but rather a printing technique feature that can be used to create an effect.
Most fabrics printed at the Marimekko printing facility in Helsinki have been granted the Öko-Tex Standard 100 certificate, guaranteeing that they are free of toxins. Our coated cottons are coated with phthalate-free PVC.
Return Policy
Marimekko Canada has a 30-day return policy.
Unused and undamaged products bearing all original product identifiers and tags can be returned, except for fabrics that have been cut to order.
Exchanges are not possible in our online store. You must return the product and place a new order for the product you want.

Return Instructions

To start a return, please contact customerservice@marimekko.ca with your order number, name, email address, item you will like to return and reason for the return.
You are responsible for return postage and selecting your own carrier.
Please use a trackable and insured shipping method. Please notify us at customerservice@marimekko.ca of the new return tracking number.
Pack the item(s) carefully. Please ensure that all items are in the original condition with tags attached.
- Please include the paperwork that came with your order in the same parcel.
- Marimekko is not responsible for shipping fees of your selected carrier or lost returns.
- Drop off the parcel at the carrier’s office and save the return tracking number for your records. If return shipping cannot be tracked and receiving the return is not confirmed by the warehouse your refund cannot be processed.
The refund is usually processed within 10 business days of receipt.
